Mural Workshops
Artists Paint for Peace also conducts fee-based mural workshops for elementary, middle, and high schools, colleges, and clubs. Mural Workshops can be custom designed to enhance existing program curriculum, to integrate the Visual Arts with other subjects such as:
Social studies
Science
Language skills
Mural Workshops can be designed to accommodate the needs of children ages 8-20, and are excellent for developing skills such as hand-eye coordination, spatial relations, and enhance self-esteem and appreciation for the arts. We have a particular interest in developing programs for At-Risk populations, and strive towards generating a sense of accomplishment and self-expression in all of the children we work with.
Artists paint for Peace can assist your organization by helping to showcase the arts in their facility, enhancing the knowledge and skills in the arts of children and staff, integrate the arts into the curriculum, and developing the ability of staff to implement similar projects on their own.
