Volunteering With Artists Paint for Peace
|
Our volunteers come from many different walks of life; some are professional artists, some simply enjoy the visual arts and serve as artist's assistants, some lend their expertise in "classroom management" and are there to work with and encourage the young people when we do work in schools or juvenile facilities. Individuals with a background in design may work on creating the murals, while those with an interest in fundraising and grant writing assist us by helping to obtain the necessary funds for our operation. Your contribution to us is limited only by your imagination, and individuals decide for themselves their own level of involvement. Whether it be once per month painting a mural, or a few hours a week assisting us with mailings or operational activities, everyone is welcome to make a contribution! |
